General Anesthesiologist – Perm – Ohio
We have partnered with a well-established private anesthesiology group serving central Ohio to assist them with finding an Anesthesiologist to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative practice with a predictable schedule, strong work-life balance, and a clear path to partnership with no buy-in.
Position Details for Your Consideration:
Clinical Scope:
- All Bread and Butter cases, no cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, or heads
- Supervision model with residents and CRNAs; some solo cases
- Active residency program onsite
Schedule & Call:
- OR start time: 7:30 AM
- Staggered peel-off call system:
- 1st call: In-house 24 hours; post-call day off
- 2nd call: In-house until ~3–5 PM, then home call (rare callbacks)
- 3rd/4th call: Home call with minimal call-ins
- Weekend call: Two physicians cover Friday–Sunday on rotation
Case Volume & Setting:
- 9 ORs, 4 endoscopy rooms, 2 OB ORs
- Typically running 6–8 ORs plus OB and 1–2 endo rooms
Incentives & Benefits:
- Partnership after 2 years (no buy-in); partners earn equal-share income
- Optional off-site coverage available for an additional $60K/year
- Sign-on bonus: $20K
- 10 weeks PTO
