How Assurgent Medical Staffing collects, uses, and protects information on this site.

Assurgent Medical Staffing (“Assurgent,” “we,” “us”) provides physician, advanced practice, and allied health staffing services to healthcare organizations nationwide. This policy explains what personal information we collect through assurgentmedical.com and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly. When you submit a CV, apply to a position, request staffing, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to share. For clinicians, this typically includes your name, contact details, specialty, licensure and certification information, work history, education, and the contents of your CV or resume. For client organizations, this typically includes your name, title, organization, contact details, and information about the roles you need filled.

The website guide. The guide on this site (named on screen) is an automated, scripted tool, not a person. It offers choices and does not accept typed questions. It stores nothing about you unless you choose to ask for a call back, in which case we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your consent choices with the time, and which options you picked, so the right team can call you. That request is kept as a private record until the conversation has moved into our recruiting system or you ask us to delete it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect certain information automatically when you visit, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and how you reached the site, such as the search or ad that brought you here. We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, to understand how it is used (analytics), and to show and measure our advertising (marketing). The Cookies and tracking section below explains each one and how to turn it off. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.

Information from third parties. In the course of a placement, we may receive information about clinicians from references you provide and from credentialing and verification sources, consistent with industry practice and applicable law.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide our staffing services, including matching clinicians with positions and presenting candidates to client organizations, to communicate with you by phone, email, or text message about opportunities and searches, to operate and improve our website, to understand how visitors use it, to show our open roles and services to clinicians and healthcare organizations on other websites and measure how those ads perform, to comply with legal obligations, and to protect our rights and the security of our services.

How we share information

With client organizations. If you are a clinician working with us, we share your candidate information with prospective employers as part of the placement process. This is the core of our service, and our team works with you throughout that process.

With service providers. We use trusted vendors to operate our business, including our applicant tracking system, email and text messaging providers, scheduling tools, form processing, and website hosting. These providers process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

With analytics and advertising providers. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. When we advertise, we may also use advertising platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, and Meta to show our roles and services on other websites and to measure the results. We may also use Bullhorn Automation, part of the recruiting system we use to manage candidates and clients, which can connect visits to our site with the record of someone who is already in that system, for example after they open one of our emails. These providers collect information through cookies and similar technologies on our site, including your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you view, and they may combine it with information they already hold. Their own privacy policies govern how they use it.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Assurgent, our candidates, our clients, or others.

We do not sell your personal information for money. When advertising providers collect information through marketing cookies on our site, some state privacy laws treat that as a sale or as sharing for targeted advertising. You can opt out at any time, as explained under Your Privacy Choices below.

Cookies and tracking

We use three kinds of cookie. Essential cookies make the site work and cannot be switched off; they remember your privacy choice and keep forms secure. Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics and by our own site, tell us which pages are used, how visitors find the site, and where they get stuck. We look at this information in aggregate. Marketing cookies, set by advertising platforms and Bullhorn Automation, let us show our roles and services to clinicians and healthcare organizations on other websites and measure whether those ads led to a visit, an application, or an inquiry.

Which rules apply depends on where you are. In the United States, analytics cookies are on when you visit, and marketing cookies are also on unless you opt out. You can turn either one on or off at any time with the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer. Everywhere else, only essential cookies are used, and analytics and marketing cookies stay off unless you turn them on with the same link. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for one year. We also keep a record of the choice itself, with the version of this notice and the time, and no personal identifiers, so that we can show what was chosen.

Turning cookies off on our site stops new collection; it does not remove information a provider has already collected. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on every site, and each advertising platform offers its own ad settings.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information. Marketing cookies stay off, the footer of every page shows that your opt-out request has been honored, and nothing you do on the site overrides it.

Notice at Collection

Every form on this site says, on the form itself, what it collects and what we use it for, before you fill it in. In summary: contact details and the content of your message or brief, used to answer you, to run the work you are asking us to do, and to tell you about roles and opportunities that may fit. If you send a CV, it also includes your work history, and we share it only with facilities you agree to be presented to.

Calls and Texts

Permission to call or text you is asked for separately from permission to contact you by email, and it is never a condition of using this site or being considered for a role. You can withdraw it at any time by telling the person you are working with, or by writing to info@assurgentmedical.com.

Your Privacy Choices

Assurgent does not sell personal information for money. In the United States, marketing cookies are on by default, and when they are on, advertising providers may receive information about your visit in a way that state privacy laws can treat as a sale or as sharing for targeted advertising. To opt out, use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer and turn off marketing cookies. We also honor Global Privacy Control signals automatically. To opt out by request, or to make any other privacy request, contact us at info@assurgentmedical.com or 877-842-6833.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy laws, which can include the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to access or receive a copy of it, the right to correct inaccuracies, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@assurgentmedical.com or 877-842-6833. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Data retention

We retain candidate and client information for as long as needed to provide our services and as required for legal, regulatory, and legitimate business purposes. Staffing relationships often span years, and clinicians frequently return to us for future placements, so we retain candidate records to serve those ongoing relationships unless you ask us to delete them.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website and services are directed to working professionals and healthcare organizations. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date.
