OB Hospitalist / Laborist in Southeast
- Join an academic, hospital-employed OB Hospitalist program focused exclusively on inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
- Provide comprehensive labor and delivery coverage, OB emergency care, gynecologic consultations, emergency procedures, postpartum rounding, and management of unassigned obstetric patients.
- Work in a high-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit alongside Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and experienced nursing staff in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible shift-based scheduling with opportunities for 24-hour laborist shifts or dedicated nocturnist coverage, offering predictable work-life balance and no home call between shifts.
- Play an active role in resident education by supervising trainees, participating in hands-on deliveries, and contributing to an academic teaching environment.
- Maintain a broad procedural practice, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries, obstetric emergencies, and gynecologic surgical care while working with multidisciplinary specialists.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, simulation training, and program development initiatives within a growing academic department.
- Practice in a fully integrated, technology-supported environment with comprehensive inpatient resources.
- Open to Obstetrician-Gynecologists who are passionate about acute obstetric care, medical education, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative hospital-based setting.
