Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
We are seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment with a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The physiatrist will serve as the primary physician for the unit and provide in-person bedside consultations.
Patients have a range of rehabilitation needs, including stroke, non-traumatic brain injury, non-traumatic spinal cord injury, and multi-trauma. The unit is part of an acute care hospital with specialist support available.
Assignment details
- Anticipated 7-on/7-off schedule, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- No overnight call; a nocturnist covers nights
- Epic EMR
- Target start in December or shortly thereafter
- Approximately 90-day credentialing timeline
