A well-supported hospital in Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a long-term locum assignment with contract-to-hire potential. This bread-and-butter IR opportunity offers procedural autonomy, a compact weekday schedule, and a scenic Colorado lifestyle.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • 2 weeks per month (M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • No call, no nights, no weekends
  • Credentialing in 2-3 weeks for clean files
  • Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
  • Procedural autonomy: physician approves all scheduled procedures
  • 24/7 offsite reads provided by radiology group

 
Clinical Scope:

  • Breast biopsies, stereotactic biopsies
  • Liver, bone, and lung biopsies
  • Thyroid FNAs, paracentesis, thoracentesis
  • Esophagrams, fluoroscopic GI studies, joint injections
  • Diagnostic mammography and PET reads

 
Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • MQSA certified
  • Ability to perform conscious sedation
  • Clean malpractice history preferred
