A well-supported hospital in Colorado is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for a long-term locum assignment with contract-to-hire potential. This bread-and-butter IR opportunity offers procedural autonomy, a compact weekday schedule, and a scenic Colorado lifestyle.
Opportunity Highlights:
- 2 weeks per month (M-F, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- No call, no nights, no weekends
- Credentialing in 2-3 weeks for clean files
- Travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
- Procedural autonomy: physician approves all scheduled procedures
- 24/7 offsite reads provided by radiology group
Clinical Scope:
- Breast biopsies, stereotactic biopsies
- Liver, bone, and lung biopsies
- Thyroid FNAs, paracentesis, thoracentesis
- Esophagrams, fluoroscopic GI studies, joint injections
- Diagnostic mammography and PET reads
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Radiology
- MQSA certified
- Ability to perform conscious sedation
- Clean malpractice history preferred
