Locums – Certified Nurse Midwife- New York
We are seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) for an evening women’s health acute care assignment in New York. This is a full-time locum opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., for at least three to four weeks per month. No weekends or call.
The CNM will evaluate and treat urgent obstetric and gynecologic concerns, including pelvic pain, bleeding, infections, early pregnancy concerns, and postpartum issues. The role includes examining patients, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing treatment, and coordinating transfers or follow-up when needed. You will work with OB/GYN physicians and the broader care team to support continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Active New York Nurse-Midwife license
- Ability to independently assess and manage urgent women’s health concerns
- At least two years of women’s health, labor and delivery, or obstetric triage experience preferred
Local or drive-in candidates are preferred. Mileage reimbursement may be available.
