Locum -Neonatal NP – New York
A low-volume inpatient newborn nursery is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Hospitalist for ongoing locum coverage.
This opportunity offers 6–7 in-house, 24-hour shifts per month, with additional shifts available. Average volume is only 5–10 patients per shift, covering the delivery room and newborn nursery.
Providers work independently and must be confident stabilizing critically ill newborns until transport to a higher-level NICU. Current NRP certification and at least 24 months of hands-on experience with neonatal resuscitation, intubation, line placement and CPR are required. BLS and PALS are also required.
The program offers advanced labor and delivery resources, 24/7 emergency support and access to telehealth collaboration with an academic medical center.
