Locum Interventional Radiologist
Hospital-Based Opportunity
We're seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist for an ongoing locum assignment at a well-supported hospital. This opportunity offers a diverse case mix with dedicated IR coverage and limited callback volume.
Position Highlights
- 8-hour onsite day shifts (approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)
- Weeknight call (4:00 PM–8:00 AM) plus 24-hour weekend call
- Average 10–15 IR procedures per day
- Emergency callback only; low callback frequency
- Epic EMR
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
Required Experience
- Comprehensive Interventional Radiology experience
- Stroke thrombectomy experience required
- Broad experience with vascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, TIPS, embolization, dialysis access, vertebroplasty, pain procedures, and other advanced IR procedures
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
- Active North Dakota license preferred; IMLC accepted
- ACLS & BLS required
- IR residency or fellowship
- Clean malpractice history preferred
Credentialing: Approximately 60–90 days.
